Technology - Lakeside Preparatory Academy - Private School

The private school has been configured for wireless Internet access and this technology has been embraced in all classrooms.

The following is a minimum technology requiremen for boarding studentst:

• recent name-brand PC notebook computer, less than 2 years old
• must be adaptable to English language and keyboard
• Antivirus protection is mandatory

It is also strongly encouraged that day students are equipped with their own notebook computer.

Software:

• Full Microsoft Office Standard Package (2000 and newer)
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Front Page, Publisher

If you are unable to provide this technology requirement the school will be happy to purchase this equipment for you at a cost of: $1000 CAD (approx. value)
